Tinker maintained that they could have done alot better than 14th if they had not been plagued with mechanical problems. Tinker views the Cape Epic as being particularly tough on equipment. Now that's an excellent reason why the trail crew should be riding this event - to demonstrate how tough the Stumpjumper FSR is!
